thoughts

even with nine hours of much needed sleep last night, i can't seem to wrap my mind around any one thing to write about today.

so, here's just some randomness that's going through my head right now.

- debt.  ways out of it are at our fingertips, we've just been lazy.

- hospitality.  we welcomed over 15 people into our home yesterday.  there's nothing josh and i love more than having company.  while we were at jim and emily's this weekend we visited a family from their church who opened their home for food, pumpkin painting and a time of hanging out.  the folks were sweet, genuine and i just felt that they knew they'd been blessed and they wanted to pass those blessings on to everyone who walked in their door.

i pray that my home and my heart show that everyone is welcome as soon as they enter our door.

- sewing.  every once in awhile i just really have an urge to sew.  too bad i don't know how.

- my brother-in-law.  he ran a marathon yesterday.  so stinkin' proud of him.

- candy.  i bought six bags of candy before our party yesterday.  i don't think more than 10 pieces were eaten.  i may as well rub the snickers and kit kats on my butt and thighs...that's where they'll end up anyway!

- laundry soap.  i splurged and bought tide and downy.  my clothes smell nice.  {when i don't forget to transfer them to the washer immediately}

- tennessee.  always tennessee.

- melissa.  i'll be seeing her in a couple of weeks with candee. love my friends.  i'm also excited that i'll finally be meeting melissa's friend, sarah.

- change.  i don't think i like it.

- cheesecake.  i made my first one for treena's birthday.  i didn't bake the brownie crust long enough.  fail.

- family.  love all of 'em.

- facebook.  pffft.

- leaves.  wind is blowing.  leaves are falling.  it's beautiful in our yard.  but those leaves are time consuming, dude!

I'm sorry, but you mentioned cheesecake & brownies in the same breath and, well, that just totally blew my concentration. :)
